A bit of action during your holiday? At EuroParcs IJsselmeer, we have all-weather tennis courts where you can enjoy a game of tennis with your friends or family.

Guests at our park can use our tennis courts for 1 hour daily free of charge. Want to be sure of a spot during your holiday? Then book here or come along to the reception.

For your information: From 19 December to 5 January, we will have an ice rink on our tennis court. As a result, tennis cannot be played. Skating + skate rental is free for our park guests!

Medemblik

Walk through the narrow streets and view the old houses and picturesque facades in beautiful Medemblik. This old city will take you back in time. Visit Radboud castle, the centuries old Bonifacius church or city brewery Radboud. Will the children be joining you? If so, Fun Fest Medemblik is highly recommended! This playground measuring about 1000 m² is fully pirate-themed, allowing the children to have the time of their lives!

Enkhuizen

The center of Enkhuizen continues to radiate the atmosphere of the Golden Age and has many magnificent monumental buildings and fortifications. This makes it an ideal day trip for those who love history and culture! Enkhuizen is also home to the South Sea Museum, where you will learn all about the history of the IJsselmeer and the future of the area. For the children, the 'Fairy Tale Wonderland' is highly recommended!

Of course, Alkmaar is the cheese city of the Netherlands. This makes the cheese market definitely worth a visit during your holiday. The city also has a beautiful old center full of great shops and pleasant cafes, terraces and restaurants.

Hoorn has a beautiful old and pleasant center as well. The city has no fewer than 3000 monumental buildings as well as stunning canals. In addition, the city has a beautiful harbor, making it possible to visit the city by boat. You can also choose to step on the steam tram from Medemblik to Hoorn.
