What makes the circus in Ahoy special is the fact that the performers are still accompanied by a live orchestra, something you rarely see in circuses nowadays. The traditional ringmaster is also present in our arena. This role has been performed with verve by Sylvia Schuyer for many years. In addition, the clown Don Christian cannot be missing, because what is a circus without a clown! Don Christian comes from Austria, but also speaks some Dutch. Which is nice for the small children in the audience. But even without words, this circus clown is in a class of his own and gets the laughs.
