Get out and about during your holiday by the IJsselmeer

The IJsselmeer lake lends itself extremely well to endless sailing, boating, and kiting, but also fishing, swimming, and SUP boarding are excellent options, too. That being said, we would definitely still recommend a number of trips 'on land' During your holiday by the IJsselmeer. For example, in the Zuiderzee Museum you can learn more about the creation of the IJsselmeer. In the bakery museum, 'De Oude Bakkerij', you can smell and taste the atmosphere of yesteryear thanks to the various old Dutch delicacies. Or dive even deeper into history and visit Radboud Castle, which was built in the 13th century. A visit to Alkmaar, Hoorn, or Amsterdam is also a fine option for a day of culture, shopping or nightlife. In short, endless possibilities during a holiday by the IJsselmeer.
